is it just me or are people super duper reluctant to comment these days?
i'm going through the deviations on my watch list and it seems no one's getting any... i thought it was just me (as in; just me who's not getting any comments) (because i'm certainly giving comments).
but here we have this spectacular piece with *checks* 17 faves... and no one has anything to say about it?
i know i don't give good comments

... but at least i say something.

Yeah, really ... I see what you are saying, and at times, it really frustrates me, but other times, I just brush it off and figure not many people feel comfortable leaving comments. More so now than ever, with the critiques feature recently being launched. I have all of my work marked for critiques, and have only received one so far. What gives ?? Hahahahaha !!

Also, you *do* give good comments, and I really enjoy reading them and our chats on here. Thank you for the great feedback !

i've actually noticed the comments dropping right after the new critique system got launched... yet i don't really see a huge amount of critiques; so did people just give up completely in giving feedback?
if so, that really sucks

i don't have the time to comment each deviation i fave every day, but at least i'm trying... it's almost like if people see that a deviation has a lot of faves but no comments it automatically means that they don't have to comment either i guess
