I am so pressed for time right now, so why the hell am I still on dA ? I'm just addicted like that, I guess... Well, I am finishing up packing so I can be moved into my new house TOMORROW...

On top of all that, I am sick with a scratchy throat and have to be up at 6 AM... Bad, bad combination !!

dA's site design just gets worse and worse. I like the way it was before, with the clubs being just regular accounts. It's BS that I have to re-join all of my clubs that I was a part of before...

Life has just been one big black hole of a memory for the last year or so. I've not been up for channeling all of this anger and hurt through my art; it's gotten that bad. But, I'm working on a few ideas that I have been toying with. The ideas I have right now are pretty dramatic and demented, but I have to work on the actual setting to make it all happen. I don't wan to do "just photography and digital art" anymore. I'm expanding my horizons, and I'm trying to incorporate traditional art into what I'm aiming for.

As for this site, I am sorry I abandoned it for so long. I just didn't want upload some rushed together crap just because I wanted to remain active.

The new ideas aside, I'm starting to work on a series of ideas for self-portraits.

I know I've been slacking on this site, but I wanted to give thanks to everyone for the DD !! Special thanks go to ~TazzyDee for suggesting and `RockstarVanity for featuring !! It means a lot to me, and I was really surprised to learn that my "Birds of the Apocalypse"

Also, I wanted to thank =JillAuville for alerting me about this in Facebook, but also letting me know that a loser was spamming my comments section.

Their name is ~devender87, so if they leave you comments, just flag as spam and block them from your account. They are nothing short of obnoxious, and they're obviously only into making art for getting attention.

I mean, who doesn't like attention on their art ? That's one thing, but what this person is doing is extremely too excessive, and hopefully they get stopped soon.

I banned them from my gallery, so you don't have to worry about them harassing you through my page anymore.

Yeah, wow.  Sorry I've not been around in ages.  For starters, my computer crapped out on me, causing my hard drove to die.  I replaced said hard drive, and then my integrated graphics card went, as well.  I have a widescreen monitor, and I need to buy a new one.  Everything looks stretched out and disproportionate.  I've done EVERYTHING to try and fix this, and I mean everything.  Literally, I spent a total of 36 hours to try and resolve this over the course of three days.  Talked to tech support for both my monitor and my PC, intalled/uninstalled drivers, etc. I'm confused as to which one to go for.

Other than that, Summer is always crappy for my creativity, so I've hardly touched my camera all summer long, unless I was taking photos of stuff to sell on eBay.

I'm starting to feel a little more creative, since the weather is calming down some.  Although, my brother might swap monitors with me until I get the new card.

I'll be back soon.  Just wanted to pop in and let you all know that I've not disappeared from here.  Plus, I've been really busy with other stuff.  I did my Aunt's wedding for her for free back in the beginning of July, and you can go and see some of the photos I took in my Flickr account.

I'm also going to be disabling prints for this account, and switching over to sell them on Etsy instead.  Why should deviantART get any of the $$ for the prints I sell ?  I'll keep everyone posted, and if anyone has any suggestions for selling prints on Etsy, let me know.  I'm thinking of ordering the prints from a printing company and making slight modifications to them, let me know if you have any good printing companies to go with for having my prints done.

Also, what's with the new journal-editing layouts, with the two tabs ?? Everything was perfect the way it was before. It's annoying having to put my Journal title in one tab and then click another tab to edit my content.

Dead Nikon + Features

I have some sad, sad news ... My Nikon D60 is no longer functioning normally. It flew off of my flimsy tripod last night in the studio at college. No damage has been physically done to it, however, I'm still upset by this.

Luckily, Nikon offers a full one-year warranty for all of their products, so I'm still under warranty. Nikon will repair it for free. Worst that will happen is I'll be without it for a few weeks.

Still, though, I was pissed beyond belief last night.

Red is the color of fire and blood, so it is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love.

Red is a very emotionally intense color. It enhances human metabolism, increases respiration rate, and raises blood pressure. It has very high visibility, which is why stop signs, stoplights, and fire equipment are usually painted red. In heraldry, red is used to indicate courage. It is a color found in many national flags.

Photobucket Rippage that concerns some of us

Ok, I actually came across this photobucket account a few months ago; I asked them politely to please remove my work the first time around. However, I'd forgotten about it over time, and I didn't even bother looking at the rest of their album, since Google alerts only alerted me for one of my textures.

Thanks to Google Alerts, I've stumbled upon this photobucket again to see that not only did they NOT remove my work, but I looked through the rest of their album and saw a lot of work that was stolen from other dA members. Some of you happen to either been featured by me or are on my

, so I recognised the work straight away.

I love how, with photobucket, you can leave people comments just like you can on any other photo-sharing community.
